EP Committee wants March European Summit to give go-ahead for launching EU accession talks with FYROM - Croatia expected to conclude accession talks this year - Mixed report on Turkey

Brussels, 27/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's foreign affairs committee adopted reports on Wednesday 27 January on the three EU candidate countries, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Turkey. The reports were as expected but the EP is putting pressure on member states, particularly Greece, to get the March 2010 European summit to give the go-ahead for the start of EU accession talks with FYROM.
