Brussels, 20/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Tuesday 19 January that a compromise had been reached by the parties in the bilateral EU-Faroe Islands agreement on fishing possibilities for 2010. This annual agreement allows European fishermen to catch fish in Faroese waters, and Faroese fishermen to have fishing quotas for Community waters.
