Charlemagne 2010 award goes to Donald Tusk

Brussels, 18/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk is to receive the Charlemagne Prize for his work to promote Europe. The 2010 prize will be awarded to him “in recognition of his work for furthering liberty and democracy in Europe” and for developing “the understanding and cooperation of Poland with its European partners”, it is stated in a press release from the Charlemagne Prize Society, which, since 1950, has each year paid tribute to those contributing to...
