Brussels, 18/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - 30 European paper sector firms have selected to take part in a meeting in Algiers on 18-19 January with companies from Algeria and the southern rim working in the paper industry. Partnerships being sought at this meeting, which has come about on the initiative of the INVEST-IN-MED network of private investors, relate to the manufacture of machinery for the paper industry, recycling, software and different paper factory equipment. The aim will be to increase investment in both qualitative and quantitative terms, and to encourage trade agreements between the two rims of the Mediterranean in the paper industry machine manufacture.
