03/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 2 December, the European Commission authorised the €14.3 million of aid which the Slovakian authorities intend to grant to Volkswagen Slovakia, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, for the upgrading of an existing plant in Bratislava. The Commission found the measure to be compatible with the requirements of the Regional Aid Guidelines 2007-2013. The project will involve eligible investment of €300 million by Volkswagen Slovakia.
