European Commission suggests 15 month extension for measures against Chinese and Vietnamese footwear

Geneva, 02/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - Despite opposition from a majority of member state experts during the antidumping committee meeting on 19 November (EUROPE 10023), the European Commission suggested to the Council on Wednesday 2 December that it extend by 15 months the antidumping duties which are imposed on EU imports of leather footwear from China and Vietnam by 16.5% and 10% respectively.
