02/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 2 December, the European Commission approved the planned merger whereby the group MDC-V Holdings Sarl (United Arab Emirates) and France's Veolia Eau Compagnie Générale des Eaux S.C.A. (water supply services and waste water treatment) will take joint control of Azaliya of France, by means of share purchase. (L.C./transl.fl)
