Education and culture committee adopt report on volunteering

Brussels, 25/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - At its meeting in Strasbourg on Monday 23 November, the European Parliament's committee on culture and education adopted the report by Marco Scurria (EPP, Italy) on voluntary activities. Scurria states that the financial support for voluntary work should reach €10 billion in order to support activities taking place during the European year of Voluntary Activities 2011.
