19/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 19 November, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Just Retirement (Holdings) Plc of the UK by Avalon Acquisitions Limited, controlled by Permira IV Fund, also of the UK. Just Retirement provides financial services to those approaching or in retirement. Permira IV Fund is a private equity fund. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
