20/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - Guy Verhofstadt has welcomed the fact that the Czech president has shown his intention to sign ratification of the Lisbon Treaty once the constitutional court has given its decision. “Signature must be made as soon as possible (…) so that everything can begin on 1 January”, the Belgian president of the ALDE Group said during a press conference on Tuesday 20 October, in Strasbourg.
