22/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - On the sidelines of the annual ministerial meeting of the OECD, to be held in Paris on 24 and 25 June, the European Trade Commissioner Catherine Ashton will meet her opposite numbers from the key countries of the Doha Round for an informal meeting under a reduced format, on the resumption of multilateral negotiations. Among those taking part in the meeting alongside Ms Ashton and the Director-General of the WTO, Pascal Lamy, will be the American Trade Representative Ron Kirk, the Australian Trade Minister Simon Crean, the head of Brazilian diplomacy Celso Amorim, the Indian Trade Minister Anand Sharma and their Japanese and South African counterparts, respectively Toshihiro Nikai and Rob Davies.
