05/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - In a statement released on Wednesday 3 September, European Union High Representative for the CFSP Javier Solanacondemns the formation of a new government by the Mauritanian military junta on 1 September”. Solana noted that “the political crisis on Mauritania can only be resolved by the release of President Abdallahi and by the return to constitutional and democratic order”.
