19/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 6 February, Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstatdt and the Minister-President of the Brussels Capital Region, François-Xavier de Donnéa decided to grant a contract for a global urban design study for the European Schuman-Leopold area (calls for applications from candidates were launched in June 2002) to the commercial enterprise made up of ARIES Engineering & Environment Plc (Rosières), IDOM Consultaria, Arquitectura e Ingenierra Plc (Bilbao) and the ATELIER Architecture & Urbanisme Plc (Liège), in collaboration with the de facto association Moritz & Simon (Brussels), Jordi Ferrando (Barcelona) and Speculoos Ltd (Brussels). The special conditions have outlined a maximum deadline of six months for carrying out the study and the offer decided on states a period of five months.
