Brussels, 19/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council of EU Ministers for Economy and Financial Affairs on 18 February adopted without debate a resolution on the implementation of the action plan eEUROPE 2005. Annexed to the resolution is a list of standardisation indicators to evaluated progress made in meeting the plan's objectives. These indicators focus on: - citizens' access to and use of Internet; - companies' access to and use of information and communication technology (ICT); - costs of internet access; - on-line administration; - e-learning; - e-health; - electronic commerce; - preparation for e-business; - internet users' experience and their information security habits; - and broadband penetration.
