Almost two thirds of British voters would vote to stay in the EU during the referendum on 23 June, according to a survey of 5000 adults carried out by the newspaper The Guardian. 35% of voters would support the "Brexit" or the United Kingdom leaving the EU and 65% would vote to remain within. In Brussels, the Reuters agency reported that meetings of European officials and diplomats had begun on 23 May in order to prepare for the different scenarios. These took place in France and Germany, as well as Slovakia, which will be in charge of the forthcoming rotating presidency. The United Kingdom was not represented on 23 May. These meetings are being facilitated by Martin Selmayr, Head Cabinet Jean-Claude Junker's Cabinet. (SP)
