25/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - Mergers: CD&R/Wilsonart. On 24 October, the European Commission authorised the acquisition by private investment group CD&R Wimbledon Holdings III, L.P. (the Cayman Islands), which belongs to US company Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, of US decorative coatings and bio-composite panels company Wilsonart International Holdings, which is active in France, Germany and the UK through its local subsidiaries Polyrey, Resopal and Wilsonart UK.
