06/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - Minor changes in 2011 programme for aid to most deprived. On Wednesday 4 May, the management committee for horizontal issues endorsed a minor change to allocations for the European programme relating to the distribution of food to the most deprived persons in the EU. Out of a total budget of €480 million, there has been a change of €1.5 million. It was decided that an additional re-allocation of 12,856 tonnes of cereals should go to Italy, 306 tonnes of cereals to Slovenia and 57 tonnes of cereals to Poland (from other member states that do not need them). Italy's budget is up by €1,374,065 (to €102.02 million in total). (L.C./transl.jl)
