During the 24th EU-Japan summit which was held in Brussels on Thursday 6 July, the leaders of the EU – European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker – and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe confirmed the agreement in principle that was concluded the previous day by European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and the head of Japanese diplomacy, Fumio Kishida, and that seals the negotiations for a Japan-EU free trade agreement (JEFTA)...
