Funding plan for tackling climate change in poor countries severely criticised by NGOs

Brussels, 11/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European funding plan that the Commission has just proposed for tackling climate change in developing countries beyond 2012 (see EUROPE 9974) has received a cool reception from civil society organisations - both environmental and development NGOs - and also from a number of MEPs.
