Brussels, 11/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - Slovenia has decided to lift its veto on talks for Croatia's membership to the EU. The decision, announced on Friday 11 September by Slovenian and Croatian prime ministers Borut Pahor and Jadranka Kosor, is part of a comprehensive agreement that the two countries reached on settling their border dispute to be put to international arbitration (as suggested by the European Commission in its mediation efforts).
