20/08/2009 (Agence Europe) - On 7 August, the Commission approved the acquisition of joint control of Barclays Vida y Pensiones Compañía de Seguros S.A. (BVP) by the British financial company Barclays and CNP Assurances, which is active mainly in the field of life insurance. The operation was examined under the simplified procedure. (C.D./trans.fl)
