15/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 15 June, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of AREVA NP of France by AREVA SA of France and Siemens AG (Germany) after the latter's decision to completely withdraw from AREVA NP. AREVA SA designs, produces and sells power generation, electricity transmission and distribution solutions and AREVA NP designs and constructs components for nuclear islands for nuclear power plants engineering, carries out maintenance...
