25/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 25 May, the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) officially launched the website for its campaign for an acceptable minimum income.
EAPN is appealing to all citizens who believe that everybody has the right to live in dignity to support its campaign, by signing the petition at http://www.adequateincome.eu . The Nobel prizewinner Dario Fo, the former president of the European Commission Jacques Delors, the director of Dignity International Aye Aye Win, the secretary general of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) John Monks and the president of the social platform Conny Reuter have already put their support behind the campaign.
