European publisher and advertiser associations want more measures to counter “cookies”

Brussels, 28/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - As part of the ongoing trilogue on the “telecom reforms package”, a coalition of specialised organisations in the media and advertising world (AIG, EACA, ENPA, EPC, EuroISPA, FAEP, FEDMA, IABEurope and WFA) are pressing partners to adopt provisions to protect the internet from harmful commercial practices, “cookies” in particular.
