28/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 23 April, MEPs called on the European Commission to send it a special report on the management and supervision of Community funds in Bulgaria and Romania for the period until 15 July 2009. In adopting the report by Jean-Pierre Audy (ALDE, France) by 431 votes to 46, MEPs noted that EU institutions should apply the principle of zero tolerance towards poor use of European funds, fraud and corruption.
