20/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 16 April, the European Commission presented the Council with a proposed regulation to codify Regulation (EC) 384/96 of 22 December on "protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Community". The new regulation will take over from Regulation 384/96 and include the various modifications which have been made over time. The substance of the various acts will thus be preserved in their entirety, as the only changes made are of a purely formal nature. (O.L./transl.fl)
