Brussels, 08/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission says it is 'disappointed' with the outcome of the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) meeting in Bali, Indonesia, on 30 March to 3 April 2009. The major sticking point was the failure to reach agreement on catch limits for tropical tuna and swordfish and also the proposals on shark-finning and data reporting on shark species.
