Bowis report recommends greater account is taken of patients' interests in cross-border healthcare

Brussels, 31/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 31 March, following lengthy voting on more than 900 amendments, the environment and public health committee adopted the report of British Conservative MEP John Bowis which puts patients at the heart of the Commission's draft directive on cross-border healthcare.
