16/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 13 March, the European Commission authorised the proposed concentration whereby CNP Assurances S.A. (France) plans to acquire exclusive control of CNP Unicredit Life Ltd (Ireland) by way of purchase of shares. The companies involved operate in the following fields: - CNP Assurances: life and non-life insurance products in a number of countries such as France, Italy, Portugal and Spain; - CNP Unicredit Life: life insurance in Italy.
