Brussels, 16/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - The group of 78 ACP countries (Africa/Caribbean/Pacific) linked to the European Union through the Cotonou agreement will benefit from €2.7bn in aid to help them better respond to global challenges. On Friday 13 March, the European Commission and the ACP group signed a funding agreement in this connection under the 10th European Development Funds, which covers the 2008-13 period.
