Brussels, 09/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to allocate €700,000 in emergency humanitarian aid to flood victims in the small Pacific islands of (Fiji, Salomon Isles and Papua New Guinea). These funds from Echo (the European Commission's humanitarian aid service), aim to help around 50,000 people.
