27/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - In order to help European citizens understand the European Union's social policies, the EU has launched an awareness raising campaign comprising a series of eye-catching posters on the theme of the circus, illustrating nine different areas of EU action. The Commission explains that the circus theme will be taken up in a series of cartoons and events across the EU in 2009. After a successful start in Cyprus and Malta, the campaign is now being rolled out in Bratislava, Marseilles and Prague in March 2009; Wrexham in April 2009; and Thessalonica, Lisbon and Paris in May 2009.
