Louis Michel announces €58 million in humanitarian aid for Palestinians in 2009, €32 million for Gaza

Brussels, 26/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a visit to the Middle East for a two-day humanitarian mission (EUROPE 9822), Louis Michel, the European commissioner for development and humanitarian aid, announced on Monday 26 January a new global humanitarian aid plan for Palestinians worth €58 million for 2009.
