Brussels, 15/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - MEPs were unanimous in their request made on Thursday 15 January in Strasbourg, for the Mediterranean diet to be included in Uncesco's (United Nations for education, science and culture) cultural heritage on intangible materials. This inclusion will be examined in 2009 by the competent Unesco committee. MEPs called on the European Commission to get more involved in supporting this demand.
