Brussels, 14/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament believes that, with the directives on misleading advertising and on unfair commercial practices, the EU has provided consumers with strong protection against unscrupulous traders, but regrets that these two pieces of legislation have not been fully or adequately implemented by member states adversely affecting the protection they were intended to afford.
