19/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - The panel responsible for assessing candidate towns for the “European Culture Capital 2014”, which met in Riga on 15-16 December, have pre-selected the towns of Cesis, Liepaja and Riga for the title. Latvia is expected to endorse this recommendation in coming weeks.
