Brussels, 19/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU Fisheries Ministers, on Friday 19 December, reached unanimous agreement on Total Allowable Catches (TACs) and quotas for 2009. Discussions, especially on banning discards and the closure of the white fish fishery to the west of Scotland, were long and hard.
