European economics and finance ministers take stock midway between Washington and London summits

Paris, 19/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - At an informal meeting of EU economics and finance ministers in Paris, on Friday 19 December 2008, the French finance minister Christine Lagarde and her counterparts assessed the situation mid-way between the Washington G20 summit of 15 November and the G20 summit in London on 2 April 2009. The meeting was attended by the president of the ECB Jean-Claude Trichet, the IMF director-general Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the president of the Financial Stability...
