Foreign ministers confirm desire to upgrade relations with Israel and rapidly prepare new cooperation instrument

Brussels, 10/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 8 December 2008, EU foreign ministers reaffirmed their determination to “upgrade” EU-Israel relations in terms of both the level and the intensity. To this end, they called for the signing of a new cooperation instrument by April 2009 to follow on from the current action plan on implementing EU neighbourhood policy.
