05/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 4 December 2008, the European Commission authorised the acquisition of joint control of HVB Banca pentru Locuinte SA (Romania), a finance company, by three financial services suppliers: Raiffeisen Bausparkasse GmbH, owned by Austria's RBSK, Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall AG, controlled by Germany company Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, and Raiffeisen Bank SA (Romania), controlled by Austrian bank Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich Aktiengesellschaft. The deal was examined using the simplified procedure. (C.D.)
