Brussels, 19/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament is extremely concerned about the scale of the violence, human rights violations and humanitarian tragedy in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), horrified by MONUC's inability to protect civilians (MONUC is the United Nations' mission in the Congo).
