Moscow announces postponement of at least nine months on plan to increase duty on wood planned at beginning of 2009

Brussels, 13/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the EU/Russia summit on 14 November in Nice, Moscow has made a conciliatory gesture to the EU. On Wednesday 12 November, it announced that it may postpone its differentiated export tariff duties on wood for a further nine to twelve months.
