Brussels, 05/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Union was united on Wednesday in welcoming the election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America, hoping that the changes at the White House would strengthen transatlantic relations, the use of dialogue and multilateralism to solve the series of international problems.
