28/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 24 October, on the sidelines of the Justice and Home Affairs Council, the Council decided not to oppose adoption by the European Commission of several amendments to European accounting regulations. The changes concern “IAS 1” accounting standards on the presentation of financial reports and “IAS 23” standards on lending costs as well as opinions given by the International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC).
