08/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Council is expected to soon adopt a decision authorising the signature of an agreement between the EU and Canada on civil aviation safety. The agreement will allow mutual recognition by both parties of the certificates of navigability and maintenance of aeronautical products. The agreement was negotiated between Canada and the European Commission on the base of a negotiating brief granted to the latter in April 2004. (A.By./transl.jl)
