Australia to facilitate entry to its territory of European nationals

Brussels, 02/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 2 October, the Australian government announced it will be introducing its new, simple eVisitor online service allowing EU citizens to go to Australian territory more easily. With this new system, Australia is making a decisive step towards full reciprocity of the visa regime with EU countries (EUROPE 9689). About 1.2 million EU nationals go to Australia each year.
