Brussels, 25/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 23 September, the European Commission approved the proposed acquisition of TNS by WPP, both UK-based groups globally active in the information and communications services sectors. The Commission's decision is conditional upon WPP's commitment to divest television audience measurement services in the EEA and the TNS market research services business in Ireland.
