EU to ban imports of foods containing milk powder from China

Brussels, 25/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Union has not shied away from introducing strong measures to react to and protect its citizens from the consequences of the contaminated milk scandal in China. The Standing Committee on the Food Chain, which brings together experts from member states, on Thursday 25 September, prepared the protection measures to be taken.
