23/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 23 September, the European Commission gave its green light to a project of acquisition by NTT Data Corporation (Japan), part of the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (Japan) to take over Cirquent GmbH (Germany) by way of a purchase of shares. NTT provides telecommunications and IT services, NTT Data and Cirquent also provide IT services. The case was subject to simplified procedure. (O.L/trans/rh)
