Brussels, 22/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The 10 October 2008 Energy Council is likely to adopt a guiding report on the whole energy-climate package (see EUROPE 9586) noting sufficient consensus for discussion with the European Parliament over agreement in first reading before the end of the year on the draft directive on the promotion and use of sources of renewable energy.
